What is Alpine Linux

Alpine Linux is a Linux distribution that is small and security-oriented, platform-based must libc library and BusyBox platform. Alpine Linux began as a fork of the LEAF (Linux Embedded Appliance Framework) Project). The Alpine Linux distribution works on bare-metal hardware. It is non-commercial distribution and used for server-based workloads by contact centers. Alpine Linux uses the APK package manager to add delete and repair packages. It can be customized as well to fit specific workloads.
